Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:.patients with pleural effusion above18 yearExclusion Criteria:patients who refuse to undergone further investigations to reach final diagnosis of cause of pleural effusion.patients with intercostal tube inserted in the effusion before enrollment in the study.
