to compare the respiratory complications in patient managed with high velocity nasal insufflation versus patients managed with conventional low flow oxygen in patients with severe chest trauma

Inclusion Criteria:Chest trauma patients with lung injury confirmed by ct imagingthe age from 15-55 years oldNo indication of mechanical ventilation at the time of admission to the intensive care unitExclusion Criteria:• Patients < 15years oldrequiring endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation immediately on admission for any causefacial fractures or base of skull fracturesWho did not receive a chest computed tomography (CT) scanGlasgow Coma Scale <10Massive surgical emphysemaCOPD Patients ( chronic obstructive pulmonary disease )
