Summary
Whether an intensive short-term dietary sodium restricted intervention will have beneficial effects on the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and on the susceptibility to develop proteinuria, both measures of kidney function will be the objective of this study
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:years with CKD stage 1-3 (estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of 30-59 ml/min per 1·73 m2No recent history of acute illness or hospitalizationBP >135/85 mmHg or controlled BP with the use of antihypertensive medications.Exclusion Criteria:Serious primary diseases affecting major organs such as the heart, brain, lung, liver, or hematopoietic systemActive cancersAcute infectious diseasesPregnancyPost solid organs transplantationTerminally ill.
