Summary

Prospective, observational, single-center, study evaluating the prevalence of sarcopenia / sarcopenic obesity in individuals with metabolic and / or endocrine diseases, as well as the potential role of myokines as biomarkers or drivers of sarcopenia / sarcopenic obesity in this population. .

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * Metabolic or endocrine disease Exclusion Criteria: * Known myopathy * Systemic steroid use (\> 1 mg/kg hydrocortisone) or exogenous Cushing's syndrome * Psychological, family, sociological or geographical conditions that could potentially limit compliance with the study protocol * History of cancer within the five years prior to the study or Cushing's syndrome due to ACTH-secreting tumor
