Summary
The purpose of the study is to determine whether short-term use of an oat fiber supplement reduces exposure to your urine levels of dietary chemicals like bisphenol A (BPA).
This study will also examine whether supplementation with NeutraOat oat fiber influences blood glucose levels using continuous glucose monitoring.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Participants will be healthy
* Weight-stable for the previous 6 months
* Free of any metabolic or chronic disease
* Non-smoking (to include vaping and other nicotine or THC containing products)
* Participate in less than 250 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week
Exclusion Criteria:
* Any chronic or metabolic disease, including type 1 or type 2 diabetes
* Gastrointestinal (GI) diseases/disorders
* Neurologic or psychiatric conditions
* Nicotine or THC consumption
* Unsafe dieting practices
* Special diets (e.g. vegan, low-carbohydrate, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.)
