Intervention to Increase Physical Activity and Wellbeing Among Staff and Residents in Assisted Living Facilities

Summary

The purpose of the study is to test a program that aims to help staff increase wellness behaviors and test the impact of this program on staff and work outcomes. We will also assess the impact of the program on residents' physical activity and function.

Eligibility Criteria

Staff Inclusion Criteria: * 18 years of age or older * employed by the assisted living community in a direct care role for at least 9 months * not pregnant * speak and understand English Staff Exclusion Criteria: * do not pass the Evaluation to Sign Consent test * do not pass the EASY exercise safety screener Resident Inclusion Criteria: * 55 years of age or older * speak and understand English * live in the participating assisting living community at the time of recruitment Resident Exclusion Criteria: * N/A
