Summary

This cross-sectional study aims to identify the underlying etiology of nephrocalcinosis and to evaluate the diagnostic work-up in infants and children presenting to Assiut University Children's Hospital.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * \- Infants and children aged from birth to 18 years * Diagnosed with nephrocalcinosis by renal ultrasonography * Written informed consent from parent or legal guardian Exclusion Criteria: * Age above 18 years * End-stage renal disease already on renal replacement therapy * Refusal of informed consent by parents or caregivers
