Summary
This randomized controlled study will evaluate the effects of web-based ovarian cancer awareness education on women's awareness of ovarian cancer, health beliefs, and risk-reducing behaviors.
Participants will be randomly assigned to an intervention group or a control group. The intervention group will receive web-based education developed using the Health Belief Model. The educational modules will cover female reproductive organs and cancers, ovarian cancer, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, risk factors, risk-reducing behaviors, and barriers to taking action.
The groups will be compared using assessments conducted before the education and three months after its completion to determine whether the education improves ovarian cancer awareness, health beliefs, and risk-reducing behaviors.
